Alice Lackey

Mrs. Alice Boggs Lackey, 82, passed away Monday February 28, 2022. She was born September 30, 1939 in Forsyth county to the late Carl Ray Boggs and Alma Bolin Boggs. Alice enjoyed crocheting, but her passion was reading her bible, which she wore the cover off of four the first coming from 1949. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and deeply loved her yorkie pups; Butch and boo. In addition to her parents Alice was preceded in death by her loving husband Clifton Theodore Lackey, a grandson; Alan Clay Lackey, two brother; Dave Boggs, and CH Boggs, and a sister; Pansy Webster. She is survived by her son; Tommy Lackey (Rhonda), five grandchildren; Justin Kennedy (Jessica), Chad Stevens (Sarah), Clay Bolejack, Nick Denny, and Nate Denny, nine great-grandchildren; Emma, Cayden, Riley, Scott, Danny, Haley, Ruddie, Caly, and Kennedy, as well as three brothers; Chick Boggs, Walt Boggs (Kathy), and Olin Boggs (Bev). The family will be having a service at a later date. Flowers will be accepted, but memorials may be made to the Forsyth County Humane Society, 4881 Country Club Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27104.
