Alice Magalene Osborne Hill

Kernersville - Mrs. Alice Magalene Osborne Hill, 82, went to her heavenly home, surrounded by her loving family, Friday, April 1, 2016 at her residence. She was born February 23, 1934 to the late Lewis James Osborne and Earline Hubbard Osborne.
She will be best remembered for her sweet smile, her faithfulness, and her angelic ways. Besides her faithfulness and love of Jesus, her most earthly treasure was her unconditional love for her family. She was a constant prayer warrior, always willing to comfort, pray, and be a precious caregiver to her parents and others. She also cared for her many ""children"" to include nieces, nephews, and the love of her life, her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed and we will forever be grateful for the wonderful values she instilled in each of her families lives. She was a kind, compassionate, supportive lady, always putting the needs of others first. A loving mother, she always enjoyed going on vacations, shopping trips, or any other activities with her daughters and family. Alice was a lifelong attendee of Kernersville Wesleyan Church. She graduated in 1953 from Kernersville High School.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Norman Lee Hill, and her brother, James Ronald ""Ronnie"" Osborne, Sr.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughters Cynthia Kiger (Andy), and Kathy Hill, both of Kernersville; grandchildren, Heather Moore (Othell) of Columbia, Md., Lauren Reel (Daniel) of Kernersville; great grandchildren, Kimberlyn Brooke Moore and Brantley Andrew Reel, and great grandpuppies, Molly, Emma, and Remmie; a special sister-in-law, Judy Whicker Osborne of Kernersville; nephew Rodney ""Rod"" Osborne (Christine) of Milton, Ga.; nieces Debbie Smith (Mike),Tracy Whitaker (Michael), and Amy Cook (George) all of Kernersville. Several special aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as other brother and sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.
A funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at Kernersville Wesleyan Church with the Rev. Phil Hulen and Rev. Don Martin officiating.
