Alice Flynt

Mrs. Alice Faye Mize Flynt, 73, passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at her home.  She was born January 4, 1949, in Davidson County to the late Early Frank Mize and Lois Ingram Mize.  Alice was a licensed beautician and practiced for 30 plus years.  She was a lover of golf and gambling, especially the slots and poker machines.  Above all though, was her love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, Alice is preceded in death by her loving husband, Bill Flynt and brother, Dallas Mize.  She is survived by her son, John DeBusk (Lisa); nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; brother, Henry “Pete” Mize (Patsy); her companion of 22 years, James Marshburn; and numerous nieces and nephews.  A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
