Alexander Siafacas

Mr. Alexander "Alex" Siafacas died on February 8, 2018 in Winston-Salem. He was born on January 2, 1956 in Athens, Greece to the late Spiros and Angela Siafacas. Alex grew up living all over the world (Greece, India, Guatemala and Switzerland), and graduated from College du Leman and Vanderbilt University. He founded then sold a successful business in Winston-Salem, Merchant Services USA. Alex had a zest for life, travel, fine living and was a master storyteller. He was generous, had a big heart and will be sorely missed by those who loved and knew him. Alex is survived by his wife, Tatiana; sons, Alexander and Aristotle of Kalamata, Greece; sisters Maria Siafacas of Philadelphia, PA and Veronica Walker of Walnut Cove, NC; brother-in-law George Walker; and nephews and niece Nestor, Zack and Diana Walker. A Trisagion service followed by visitation will be held at 11:00 AM followed by the funeral service at 12:00 PM on Monday, February 12, 2018 at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, with Fr. Demetri Kangelaris officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church for the benefit of the children of Alex Siafacas, 435 Keating Drive, Winston-Salem, NC 27104.
