Alex Bowman

Walkertown - Alex Bowman, 72, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born April 12, 1939 in Surry Co. to the late William Aaron and Phoebe Pack Bowman. Alex was a very unique person; he did everything possible to help anyone who was in need. He loved to trout fish, but there was nothing more important to him then spending time with his great-grandson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Katherine Bowman; daughter, Barbara Jean Bowman; grandson, Thomas Bowman; and brother, Harvey Bowman. Surviving are his wife of over 50 years, Shirley Pack Bowman of the home; two sons, Ricky and Tom Bowman both of Walkertown; granddaughter, Jayne Bowman and Bryan Cox of Walkertown; great-grandson, Anthony Cox; and sister, Laura Mae Eaton of Kernersville. A Graveside Service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday, March 12, 2012 at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory in Kernersville.
