Alberta Moser Holland

Mrs. Alberta Moser Holland, 96, passed away Friday, December 19, 2008 at her home. She was born November 4, 1912 in Forsyth County to the late John Silas and Anna Bolejack Moser. Mrs. Holland retired from Thalhimer's and was a member of Mount Olivet United Methodist Church in Walkertown, where she taught Sunday School over 50 years. She was a devoted Christian and loved her family. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Holland was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Holland; four brothers and three sisters. Surviving are her daughter, Brenda Hargrave and husband, Larry; two grandchildren, Mike Hargrave, and Cindy Rescigno and husband, Tim; one sister, Connie Grubbs. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 21 at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with the Rev. Jackie Danley officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. this evening at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church, 2051 Old Hollow Road, Walkertown, NC 27051.
