Albert Monroe Cornatzer

Mr. Albert Monroe Cornatzer, 82, of Advance passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born September 6, 1929 in Davie County to Rom Shepard and Della Mae Barney Cornatzer. Preceding him in death were his parents, a sister Betty Cornatzer and four brothers Seabon, Guy, Hayden and Stacy Cornatzer. Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Minnie Lee Cornatzer; two sons Billy Cornatzer and wife Sonja of Advance and Stacy Cornatzer and wife Betty Jean of Advance; two grandsons Adam and Chad Cornatzer; a sister Patty Chaffin of Advance and special caregiver Steve Newsome. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 24, 2012 at Bixby Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Pete Peterson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Friday at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Bixby Presbyterian Church Foundation Fund, P.O.
