Agustin Basurto-Macias

Mr. Agustin Basurto-Macias, 68, passed away on August 3, 2016 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Agustin was born on August 17, 1947 in General Panfilo Natera Zacatecas, Mexico to Calixto and Maria Amparco Macias Basurto. He was of the Catholic Faith, He was a very hard working man that enjoyed his work. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing sweepstakes. He also loved to eat waffles from the waffle house, but most importantly and foremost, he was a loving father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and a friend to all. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jose Basurto. Agustin is survived by five children, Rosa Basurto, Maria Elidiana Martinez, Jesus Basurto, Raul Basurto, Agustin Guadalupe Basurto; eleven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; also surviving are six brothers, Santos, Jose, Asencion, Juan, Manuel, Joaquin; four sisters, Clara, Ana Maria, Maria and Rosa Basurto. A funeral mass will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Interment will follow at a later date in Zacatecas, Mexico in San Pablo Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
