Mrs. Agnes Burrow Tyree, age 90 of King passed into the loving arms of Jesus, her Savior, Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. She was born June 22, 1921 in Stokes County to James Alson and Lucy Ann Cromer Burrow. She was the last of ten children. Mrs. Tyree was a charter member of Burning Bush Church of King. She loved people and flowers and both flourished around her. In addition to her parents Mrs. Tyree was preceded in death by her first and second husband; Wilburn Kiger and Alfred F. Tyree, Sr. also four sisters and five brothers. She is survived by four children: Bill (Vondeen) Kiger of Germanton, Richard (Jean) Kiger of Rural Hall, Mike (Alice) Kiger and Brenda Cornwell both of King. Grandchildren: Dena Haigwood, Cindy McNaughton, April Rogers, Frank Mabes, Sonsera Kiger, Ben Wallace, James Kiger, Debbie Kinzer, and Terry, Don, and David Wren also several great grandchildren. Mrs. Tyree is also survived by three step-sons, Alfred Tyree, Jr. and Ronald Tyree both of OH and Ricky Tyree of OK. Two step-daughters: Susan Walls of KY and Victoria Ray of OH. Funeral service for Mrs. Tyree will be conducted Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home Chapel in Rural Hall by Pastor Ronnie Brown. Entombment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends at Hayworth-Miller in Rural Hall Monday evening December 12th from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M.
