Agnes Schuyler

Mrs. Agnes Louise Ring Schuyler, 78, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at the home of her son. She was born in Grayson Co., VA the daughter of the late Wesley Edward Ring and Pearl Morris Ring. Mrs. Schuyler fiercely loved the Lord and was a longtime faithful member of Woodland Baptist Church. She loved her Sunday School Class as well. Mrs. Schuyler was a devoted preacher’s wife of 38 years until the death of her beloved husband Gene, and she always exemplified the Godly woman she was. She loved and adored her family, and she bathed them in prayer.  In turn, her family adored and revered her, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She loved hotdogs and taters, and a good yard sale, and could not pass up a 25cent item.  If you ever met her, you loved her, and you immediately saw the genuine sweetness of her nature and the kindness of her heart.  Agnes lived a life of great purpose without purposefully living a great life: simply because she followed God’s leading.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Gene Schuyler; and a brother, Charles Ring. Mrs. Schuyler is survived by her son, Tim Schuyler (Ila); three grandchildren, Trey Schuyler (Molly), Audrey Lancho (Jonathan) and Britnee Grajeda (Jonathan); three great-grandchildren, Alastair Lancho, Sutton Schuyler and Ander Lancho; and two brothers, Bob Ring (Marie) and Bill Ring (Lisa). Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Woodland Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Gammons officiating. Burial will follow in Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Woodland Baptist Church or Mountain Valley Hospice.
