Agnes 'Faye' Cook Robbins

Mrs. Agnes ""Faye"" (Cook) Robbins passed away Saturday, February 4, 2012. She was born on July 29, 1926 in Wilkes County to the late Harrison J. Cook and Julia Ann Benge Cook. She was preceded in death by her sons, Gary Ellis, Sr. and Steven Ellis. She is survived by a very special niece, Elvis Griffin; a son, Burton Brown, Jr. (Kelly); five grandchildren, Kim Ellis Gardner (Harold), Tracy E. Sciortino (Nick), Gary Ellis, Jr. (Tonya), Nikki Ellis (Bryan), and Dustin Brown; five great-grandchildren, Austin Asbury, Drew Asbury, Addison Ellis, Grayson Ellis, and Jordan Gardner. Faye was retired from Hanes Hosiery with 41 years of service. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, cooking and going to church. Her faith in God was very strong. Without a doubt, we know she's in Heaven right now cooking and baking for those who have gone before us. A funeral service will be held at 6:30pm, Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Dennis Parnell officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at 2:00pm, Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at Parklawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to Hospice & Palliative CareCenter, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston Salem, NC 27103
