Adrian Gwyn Lawson-Champney

Adrian Gwyn Lawson-Champney 34, of Winston-Salem passed away Saturday, August 27, 2016 at her home. Our baby Adrian was a humble, loving, sweet spirited young lady. She always had a listening ear and a positive outlook on life. She loved and was loved by everyone she met. She never met a stranger. Adrian loved softball, motorcycles, jeeps and was a huge Duke fan. We will miss her sweet smile and bright blue eyes. She was preceded in death by her older brother, Joshua Dan Lawson, her paternal grandparents, Walter Gray Lawson, Sr. and Bertha Viloia Brown Lawson and her maternal grandfather, Richard Gerald Champney, her favorite uncle, D. J. Champney and her beautiful cousin, Alex Champney. She is survived by her mother, Allie Gwendolyn Champney (Danny Adams) of Winston-Salem; her father, Dan Lawson of King; her grandmother, Arlene ""Omie"" Champney; several aunts and uncles; many loving cousins and a special little cousin, Aliyah, who she called Lollipop. Adrian was a wonderful person who will forever be missed. A memorial service will be held Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 6:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
