Adam Ryan Garr

Adam Ryan Garr, 16, went home to be with our Lord Jesus January 24, 2015. He was born January 2, 1999 in Winston Salem. He was in 10th grade at Parkland High School. He previously attended Clemmons United Methodist youth group. Adam was intelligent, very compassionate, a witty comedian, nicknamed ""Dash"" for his gift as an incredible distance runner, loved making others laugh, skateboarding, colorful socks, and Japanese Sushi. He is survived by his mother Theresa A. Garr, father Garland L. Kitts, grandparents Kenneth and Barbara Garr, Aunts Kimberly Fitz and husband Mark, Judi Uhl and husband David, Uncle James Garr and wife Jacqueline and numerous cousins. The family will receive friends on Tuesday January 27 from 5-8 pm at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek. There will be a private service for family and friends. In lieu of flowers, a foundation fund in Adams name will be established to help youth with mental health challenges.
