Wendy Beaver

Mrs. Wendy Gail Byrd Beaver, 54, of Winston-Salem, passed away Monday, December 4, 2018. She was born on April 18, 1964 in Forsyth County, to the late Paul and Vernia Peters Byrd. Mrs. Beaver was of the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed cooking for her family, loved her automobile racing at the Farmington Dragstrip where she won many trophies, loved the holidays and being able to spend time with the family, but most importantly she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Preceding her in death are her parents, a brother, PJ Byrd, two sisters, Catherine Redd and Katy Boles. She is survived by: her husband of 34 years, Daniel “Todd” Beaver; two daughters: Catrina Robertson and Ashley Beaver and husband, Drew Davis; a son, Daniel Todd Beaver II; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Terresa Solomon and husband Mike of Kernersville and Jo Carter.

A graveside service will be conducted in her honor 2:00 PM Saturday, December 8, 2018, at Westlawn Gardens of Memory, officiated by Rev.  Charlie Martin. The family will receive friends Friday, December 7, 2018 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel from 6:00-8:00 PM. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
