Timothy Nelson

Timothy Wayne Nelson, 54, passed away on December 14, 2021 in Winston-Salem surrounded by his family.

Tim was born March 10, 1967 to Rev. Roy Wayne Nelson and Carol Jackson Nelson of Kernersville.  He worked in sales throughout his career, and was an avid fisherman, hunter, and lover of sports, movies, and music.  He had a strong mischievous streak, and remembering his laughter and sense of humor will undoubtedly bring comfort to those who knew him.

Tim was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Wayne Nelson.

Surviving are Tim’s children, Ashlyn Nelson, Chase Nelson and Ramsey Nelson, and their mother, Falia Evans, of Winston-Salem; his mother, Carol Nelson; his brother, Shannon Nelson (Jill) and sister Penny Enscore (Richard).  He is also survived by his aunt Jorene Cooke and uncle Gary Jackson (Diane), as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews, and his pet cat.

A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at Abbotts Creek Missionary Baptist Church (2817 Abbotts Creek Church Rd, High Point, NC 27265).

And we are confident and satisfied to be absent from the body and at home with the Lord. (2 Cor. 5:8)
