Sharon Murray

Mrs. Sharon Mahaffey Murray, 59, of Mocksville, passed away suddenly Sunday, March 24, 2019 after an accidental fall. She was born October 2, 1959 in Forsyth County. Sharon was of the Christian faith and worked for Kilpatrick, Townsend and Stockton Law Firm. She was a loving daughter and mother and was preceded in death by her father, J.B. Mahaffey. Surviving are her mother and stepfather, Luanne and David Hastings; one devoted son, Jordan Murray; a brother, Darren Long and two special friends, Debbie Simmons and Brenda Hoover. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 2019 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Interment will follow in Salem Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
