Sarah Pulliam

Lexington – Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Nelson Pegram Pulliam, 86, passed away Monday, December 17, 2018 at Alston Brook Rehabilitation Center in Lexington. Sarah was born May 6, 1932 to the late George Henderson and Lee Anna Manuel Nelson. Sarah lived in Kernersville all of her life, she was a graduate of Kernersville Highschool, and a very loving mother, and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Bobby Gene Pegram, and second husband, Robert Lee Pulliam, her four brothers; Roscoe, AG, Albert, and Roger Nelson.

Surviving are two daughters; Terry Carter and husband Steve, and Lorrie Cooper, one son; Douglas Nelson Pegram and wife Carol, three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren. One brother; Joseph Nelson, and several nieces and nephews.

An intimate family service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, December 20, 2018 at the Mausoleum Chapel in Eastlawn Gardens of Memory.
