Robert "Robin" Ore

Robert “Robin” Junior Ore, 63, passed away on Friday, November 2, 2018 at Duke University Hospital in Durham. Robert was born in Forsyth Co. on May 25, 1955 to Thomas and Doris Tucker Ore. He worked for the City of Winston where he eventually retired from. He was a member of Friedberg Moravian Church where he served as an usher for many years and was a member of the Covenant Class. Robert loved to fish and spend time at the beach. He was also an old car enthusiast and enjoyed attending many cruise-ins. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving family includes his wife of 41 years, Gail Couch Ore; one brother, Harold Ore; two nephews; one niece; and numerous extended family. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2018 at Friedberg Moravian Church in Winston-Salem. Burial will follow the service in the church graveyard. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 – 2:00 PM prior to the service.
