Peggy Copley

Peggy Murphy Copley, 92, passed away at home on February 14, 2022.  Peggy was born on January 26, 1930, to Lloyd Stone Murphy and Minnie Banks Reece Murphy in High Point, NC. She was a dedicated member of College Park Baptist Church where she was a longstanding member of the choir.  Her hobbies included car adventures with her sister, Janice and eating hot dogs at various locations. In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Carlton Copley.  Surviving are her children, Kelvin Copley (Vicki) of Conway, SC; Angela Copley of Kernersville; and Jodie Copley (Amy) of Kernersville; two granddaughters; one grandson; three great grandsons; a sister, Janice Farmer; one niece and two nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, February 18, 2022, at College Park Baptist Church with Rev. Ramon Smith officiating.  Interment will be at Parklawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Heart Assn. or College Park Baptist Church.
