Mary Myers

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Taylor Myers, 86, of Lexington passed away Friday, April 19, 2019 at her residence. Mary was born in Surry County to the late Wiley and Mamie Taylor on August 14, 1932. Mary was an exceptional homemaker and loved that job title. She also loved gardening, feeding the birds, squirrels and chipmunks that would come up on her deck to be fed. Mary loved her family, she adored being around her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Myers; several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children, Connie Hillis and husband Ed; Diane Tomlinson and husband Thom; Randy Myers and wife Mabel; grandchildren, Chris Hillis and wife Paige; Brandon Hillis and wife Amanda; Taylor Tomlinson; Jessica Joy and husband Matt and Melissa Estler; great grandchildren, Camden and Harvey Hillis; Milo, Ari and Cecilia Joy; sister, Dottie Moore. A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, 3250 High Point Road, Winston-Salem, NC with Mr. Ron Duvall officiating.
