Kernersville – Mrs. Martha Solomon Mabe, 75, passed away April 23, 2019 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. She was born in Forsyth Co. March 5, 1944 to the late Cleo Emily Davis, and William Alexander Solomon. Martha was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She loved planting and working in her flowers. Martha loved to care for people and was constantly helping others. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Solomon, and her first husband, Bennie Jones. Surviving are; her loving husband, Floyd E. Mabe, her son, Timmy Lee Jones and his wife, Tara, six grandchildren; Trevor, Bobbie, Brittany, Corey, Zachary, Joshua, she leaves behind her triplet sisters, Mary Whicker and her husband, Jimmy, Marie Holbrook and her husband, David, several nieces and nephews, and great niece and nephew. A funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Friday, April 26, 2019 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Pastor Steve Roberson officiating. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Gardens of Memory in Kernersville. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Thursday evening, April 25, 2019 at the funeral home.
