Mark Keith

Mark A. Keith passed away on Friday, February 21, 2020 in Winston-Salem, NC.

He was born on June 25, 1945 to the late James Sanders Keith and Hazel McMillen Keith of Knoxville, Tennessee. He was a graduate of Young High School in Knoxville, TN. He later moved to North Carolina where he caused as much trouble as he could.

He enjoyed watching races at Bowman Gray stadium, watching musicals at The Little Theatre, listening to bluegrass and barbershop quartets, eating soft serve at Zack’s in Kernersville (always with hot fudge), and sitting at the angel to drink a Starbucks. He was an employee at North Point Chrysler Jeep Dodge for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Cathy Keith (Winston Salem, NC); daughters, Mary Keith (Pittsburgh, PA) and Lara Goins (High Point, NC); brother and sister-in-law, Rodney and Margaret Keith (Blaine, TN); and many other family members and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. It is well, it is well, with my soul.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel, 3315 Silas Creek Parkway, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, February 28, 2020 at Woodlawn Cemetery, 4500 Woodlawn Pike, Knoxville, TN 37920.
