Jose Pozo

Jose Audiel Pozo, 38, was called home to be with the Lord unexpectedly on Friday, March 26, 2021 in Redlands, California. Jose is so special that God knew two families needed to be blessed with him, his biological family (the Pozo family) and his adopted family (the Creasy family). Jose was proud and very grateful to have both families in his life and is greatly treasured by them both.

Jose was preceded in death by his mother, Elsy Maritza Pozo, grandparents, Santos and Julia Pozo, a brother, Jimmy Creasy, and an uncle Irno Pozo.  Jose is survived by his parents, James and Hulda Creasy of King, three sisters, Janet Rose, Tammy (Tim) Wiles, and Judy (Mitch) Hall and a brother, Chris (Sandra) Creasy. He is also survived by his aunts, Rosa (Olan) Surratt, Martha (Miguel) Lozano, Miriam (Emil) Rodriguez, and Silvia (Benjamin) Moreno and uncles Samuel Pozo and Daniel (Minerva) Pozo as well as a host of cousins and friends.  Jose is also survived by his sweet girlfriend, Lizzy Casas of California, and the family wishes to express their gratitude and appreciation to Lizzy for her love and care for Jose.  Jose has a list of accomplishments but the only one that he would want others to know is that he had a relationship with Jesus Christ, and he is now enjoying Heaven because of God’s grace.  A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, May 1 at Woodland Baptist Church. Visitation will be at 1:00 pm and the service will begin at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at King Memorial Park. Jose is remembered most for his kindness, laughter, generosity and compassion. In lieu of flowers, Jose would want you to do a random act of kindness on his behalf or donate to your church/favorite charity in his name.
