Jean Dull

Mrs. Jean Curry Dull, 88, passed away after a brief illness on Friday, September 2, 2022.  She was born on September 23, 1933 in Wilkes County to Talmadge and Daisy Curry.  In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her husband, William Eugene Dull, one brother, Clarence Curry and two sisters, Maxine Hunter Everhart and Christine Harper.  Surviving are two daughters, Pamela and Tammy Vernon and one special canine companion, Shaggy.  She was an avid gardener and could make practically anything grow.  She enjoyed sharing the fruits of her labor with numerous family and friends.  A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 9, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Pastor Gary Styers officiating.  Burial will follow in Crestview Memorial Park.   The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to:  Liberty Baptist Church, 1548 Old Hollow Road, Winston-Salem, NC  27105.
