Jacqueline "Jackie" Barlow

GREENSBORO - Jacqueline “Jackie” Rebecca Speaks Barlow, 71, passed away at Beacon Place on January 23, 2021.  She was born on July 12, 1949 to Jack Linden Speaks and Elizabeth Kathleen McCarter Speaks in Forsyth County. Jackie was a homemaker with traditional values. She will be remembered for her friendly nature and generosity. More than anything in the world, she loved her grandchildren who affectionately called her “Awmaw.” In addition to her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Barlow; and brother, Terry Speaks. Surviving are her daughter, Angie Freeman and husband Shawn; grandchildren, Ashton, Linden and Chloe Freeman; sister, Sandra Lynn Speaks; and extended family and friends. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Parklawn Memorial Park. Special thanks to the caring staff at Beacon Place Hospice.
