Glenda Perkins

Glenda "Sue" Williams Perkins, 73, of Kernersville, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2020.  Sue was born July 19, 1947 in Lynchburg, VA to Edna M. Williams and Ernest H. Williams, who both preceded her in death. She is a graduate of The Memorial Hospital School of Nursing and proudly worked as a Registered Nurse for 42 years.

She was married to Ronnie G. Perkins for 38 years until his death in 2006. Sue is survived by a daughter, Laura Korman (Bob); a son, David Perkins (Dyna); a grandchild, Miles Perkins; a brother, Larry H. Williams; several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

She was a member of Bunker Hill United Methodist Church where she served as a past President of the UMW.

An animal lover, Sue supported Local Rescue agencies.

A Graveside service will be held on Saturday November 14, 2020 at 2:00pm at Bunker Hill United Methodist Church with Pastor David Rorie officiating. Social distancing will be observed, and masks are requested.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Bunker Hill UMC at 1510 Bunker Hill Sandy Ridge Rd, Kernersville, NC 27284 or to an Animal Rescue of your choice. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
