Faye Woods

Burlington – Mrs. Faye Carolyn Larimore Woods, 88, passed away January 1, 2022, at her residence. She was born August 21, 1933, in Forsyth County to the late Ida and Paul Thomas Larimore. Faye was a skilled seamstress and created several intricate wedding dresses as well as suits for her sons.  She had a love for music and was a member of the church choir for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Willis Woods, siblings three sisters Ruth Larimore, Francis Larimore, Melrose Smith and one brother Paul Larimore.

Surviving are her two sons, Kyle Woods (Donna), and Paul Woods. Five grandchildren, Lacy Lineberry (James), Phillip Murray, Ashlyn Merritt, Dana Anderson Mazzucca (Christopher), Dawn Anderson (Zane Hartle), three great grandchildren, Micah, Jace, and Jaxson and one brother Lloyd Larimore.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. James Demby officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
