Doris Holton

Doris passed away on March 25, 2020.  Born March 29, 1927 in Blair County, PA to the late Mullen and Beatrice Walker Yon, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Elmer W. Holton and two sisters, Betty Griffith and Peggy McCormick and grandson Marc Allen Holton.  Surviving is son David L. Holton, wife Pamela , grandmother of Bree Holton Briggs, husband Derik and great grandchildren Holt, Bowen and Josie Briggs.  Also, grandchild David Robb Holton, wife Amber and great grandchildren Bryson and Brooks Holton.  And son Ronald B. Holton, wife Mary, grandmother to Renee Holton and Michelle Holton Porter, husband Charlie and great grandchild Morgan Porter.  Also, surviving are nieces Cindy Lester and Cheryl Farrand of WI. and nephew Bruce Griffith of WA.

She was an active member and volunteer office worker at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church and affiliate member of Essex Methodist Church, Baltimore, MD. She was a member of Gleaners Chapter 49 Order of Eastern Star, Cockeysville, MD.
