Dennis Combs

Mr. Dennis Ronny Combs, 69, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, June 20, 2020.  He was born June 3, 1951 in Forsyth County to Norma Jones Jessup and the late Roy Reed Combs.  During Dennis’s truck driving career with Pilot Freight, Anchor Freight, and ABF Freight he achieved 5 Million accident-free miles.  Dennis also was the proud owner of C&H Produce for 15 years.  He was a family man and considered his daughter and grandchildren the lights of his life.  Dennis also enjoyed going to antique auctions with his loving wife of 48 years, Judy Combs.  In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his stepfather, James Jessup.  In addition to his mother and wife, Dennis is survived by his daughter, Stacey Wagner (Seth); two grandchildren, Catherine Harper and Aaron Wagner; sister, Donna Norman (Mike), and their children, Mikela and Cody Norman; and a number of other nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law.  A graveside service will be conducted 11:00 AM Friday, June 26, 2020 at First Baptist Church of Stanleyville with Pastor Eddie Honeycutt and Pastor T. Elliot Welch officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Stanleyville, 851 Ziglar Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27105.  (Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall)
