Denise Holcomb

Mrs. Anna Denise Foster Holcomb, 63, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center after a brave fight against a long-term illness and complications from Covid.  Denise was born July 18, 1958 in Forsyth County to Peyton and the late Rachel Ann Sowers Foster.  She was a devoted wife, mother, and nana who brought her family together through her strong faith and love of music.  In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Ayden.  She is survived by her devoted husband of 44 years, Randall Holcomb; two daughters, Megan Holcomb of the home and Vandi Elizabeth Holcomb Barrett (Adam) of Advance; five cherished granddaughters, Ella, Alexis, and Summer Yount of Walkertown and Reagan and Madison Barrett of Advance.  A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, February 18, 2022 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel in Bermuda Run with Rev. Chris Townsend and Rev. Zach Dease officiating.  Burial will follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, 55 W.
