Connie Hess

KERNERSVILLE – Connie “Dae Dae” McCollem Hess, 58, passed away Monday, December 23, 2019 at her home. Connie was born in Forsyth County on December 29, 1960 to Raymond Dallas and Myra Bowers McCollem. She was a loving sister, aunt, and friend who never met a stranger. Connie loved the outdoors and working with her plants.  She was a very giving person that will be missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Hess; and fiancé, Craig “Noodle” Newell.

Surviving are her sister, Sandra McCollem Broadstreet (Jeff); two nieces, Jessica and Maegen Broadstreet; many friends and family; and two cats that she loved dearly.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Pastor Jeff Broadstreet officiating. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 11:00 – 11:45 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
