Charles Davis, Jr.

Mr. Charles Reece Davis, Jr., 77, passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 surrounded by his family at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

Charles was born on November 23, 1940 in Forsyth County to Charles Reece Davis, Sr. and Anne Snyder Davis. He graduated from Reynolds High School in 1959 and went on to graduate from Wake Forest University in 1963. He worked for Integon Insurance as an Administrator for over 30 years.

Charles was a member of the Civitan Club and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed playing golf and antiquing with his wife Mary throughout the country.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Martha Anne Goodman.

Surviving family includes his loving wife of 56 years, Mary H. Davis; three sons, Mark Reece Davis, Bradley Charles Davis (Leslie), and Steven Hurst Davis (Stacy); and nine grandchildren, Jack, Charlie James, Bryce, Denton, Wesley, Jackson, Anna, Meredith and Jordan.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, November 16, 2018 at Knollwood Baptist Church, with Dr. Bob Setzer, Jr. officiating. A private family interment will be held earlier at Parklawn Memorial Park.
