Carol Roy

Kernersville – Mrs. Carol Diane Demark Roy, 77, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at her residence. She was born on March 31, 1943 in Summit, NJ to John and Verna Demark. Carol was member of Kernersville United Methodist Church. She loved to travel and loved animals. Carol was a nurse and worked for a nursing home in New Jersey for over 30 years. She was a wonderful mother and considered her three sons to be one of her greatest accomplishments in life.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by one grandchild, Laken Roy. She is survived by her loving husband, Richard Roy; three sons, Garry Roy (wife, Anissa), Jeffrey Roy (wife, Alyson), and Jason Roy; six grandchildren Colby, Ellison, Parker, Conner, and Drew Roy, and Kylie Whittum; and one sister, Jean Zeoli.

A graveside service for Carol will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 4, 2020 at Mt. Gur Cemetery. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
