Bruce Brown

Mr. Bruce Mathew Brown, 85, of Winston-Salem, NC passed away Thursday, December 29, 2022. He was born April 17, 1937 in Cleveland, Ohio to Edwin Shepley Brown and Bertha Miller Brown. Mr. Brown was a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church and retired from Southern Elevator Company. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Sue Brown and his parents; four brothers, Brian, Robert, John and Roger and one sister, Agnes. Surviving are his two daughters, Kimberly Brown Porter (Bob) and Robin Brown Breske (Rich) and five grandchildren, Matthew and Sara Porter, Emma, Tate and Cale Bissell. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
