Brigitte Barton

Mrs. Brigitte Sofie Egold Barton, 72, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.  She was born in Hessen, Germany on August 28, 1946 to the late Elsa and Ernest Egold.  Ms. Barton became a United States Citizen on June 24, 1999.  She was involved with the American Legion and King Outreach Ministries.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Barton was preceded in death by her brother, Helmut Egold.  She is survived by her loving husband, Ronnie Barton; son, Michael Barton; grandson, Samuel Barton; and sister-in-law, Vicky Farley.  A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 pm Saturday, June 15, at Poplar Springs Church of Christ with Ministers Chuck Bower and Don Wallace officiating.  Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown.  The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 to 1:45 pm prior to the service.  Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
