Arlene Gaudy

KERNERSVILLE – Arlene Sele Gaudy, 84, passed away Monday, September 7, 2020 at her home. Arlene was born on May 24, 1936 in New York to Arvid and Ruth Patricia Sele. She was a very dedicated mother, grandmother, and sister, who was a fierce defender of her family. Arlene was very intelligent and well-traveled and was one of the finest oil artists to grace a canvas. She loved Christmas and took great pride in decorating for the holiday.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Arlene was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Vincent Pinto, and her second husband, Warren Gaudy.

Surviving are her two sons, Craig Joseph Pinto (Marea), and Corey Pinto; two granddaughters, Mary Catherine and Sydney Pinto; and one brother, Kenneth Sele.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 14, 2020 at Forsyth Memorial Park with Rev. John G. Rights officiating. Due to limitations for public gatherings, there will be no formal visitation, but friends may come and pay their respects as well as sign the register from 9:00 – 5:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday at the funeral home.
