Anna Crayton

Mrs. Anna Hutchens Crayton, 93, of Winston-Salem Passed away Tuesday November 6, 2018 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem.  She was born in Yadkin County, November 25, 1924 to the late Eli Herman and Dicy Wall Hutchens.  Mrs. Crayton retired from Hanes Knitwear with 38 years of service.  She had a love for baking and crocheting.  In addition to her parents Mrs. Crayton was preceded in death by her husband Clyde Alexander Crayton; and a granddaughter Deanna Myers.  Surviving are her three children, Carol Myers (Billy), Charles Crayton, and Libby Blankenship (Ermal); Two grandchildren, Buddy Myers, and Gina Hendrix; one great grandson Stephen Hendrix; and one sister Jettie Davis.  A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday November 9, 2018 at Hayworth-Miller chapel in Rural Hall with Rev. Johnson Gupton officiating. Interment will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends Thursday November 8, 2018 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kate B.
