Amber Wilson

Mrs. Amber Nannette Slater Wilson, 38, of Advance, NC, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Forsyth Medical Center.  Amber was born in Forsyth County on August 4, 1982.  She enjoyed spending time outdoors and especially visiting the mountains and the beach.  Amber was a motorcycle enthusiast and loved riding her Harley Davidson.  Amber enjoyed being involved in all of her children’s activities and being there to support them.  Amber was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Ross Albert Slater and Vicki Rae Slater; maternal grandmother, Patricia Puckett; and one uncle, Randy Childress.  Amber is survived by her husband, Matthew Wilson; four children, Madison Ann Burton, Lucas Alexander Wilson, Jaxon Andrew Wilson and Austin Tyler Wilson; her parents, Robert Clayton Slater and Virginia Puckett Slater; siblings, Ashely Billings (James) and Tyler Slater (Erica); her maternal grandfather, Charles Puckett (Sharon); and two aunts, Nancy Childress and Charly Kearns (Buddy)  A celebration of Amber’s life will be held from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday, July 11, 2021 at Smokin Harley-Davidson, 3441 Myer Lee Drive, Winston-Salem, NC 27101.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the Emergency Responders Credit Union, C/O Matthew Wilson, 1777 Link Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
